In addition to software upgrades delivered to Digital Boxes and Digital Television Recorders automatically via Over Air Downloads (OADs), upgrades may be downloaded here and transferred to your product via a USB Flash drive. This is what you need to do. Click the Download button for your product below and, when prompted, select the Save option to store the update file in your Downloads folder. Insert your USB drive, open Windows Explorer, click on your username in the left pane then double-click the Downloads folder in the right hand pane. Click and hold on the upgrade file, and drag it onto the USB drive icon, release the mouse button and it will copy the file to the USB drive. Plug the USB drive into your Recorder and on the remote control press Menu > Service menu > USB upgrade. When asked select Yes and the upgrade will install automatically. After a few minutes the Recorder reboots and normal service should be resumed.
